mySOS offers our clients access to appropriate emergency assistance when:
(a) you don’t know who to call
(b) you don’t know where you are
(c) you want to notify your emergency contacts about your emergency and the exact location
(d) you want your emergency contacts and the emergency services to navigate directly to your location in an emergency

2. mySOS Activate my Emergency

mySOS Activate my Emergency:
(a) allows you to activate an emergency for yourself or on behalf of someone else

(b) allows you to choose the nature of your emergency
     • Medical
     • Fire
     • Police
     • Security Provider
     • Sea Rescue
     • Roadside Assistance

(c) Notifies your emergency contacts via SMS on your behalf and provides them with the following information:
     • Your name
     • Your mobile number
     • Nature of the emergency
     • Your exact location (GPS coordinates / street names)
     • Option to view emergency from www.mysos.co.za
     • Option to navigate from their current location to your emergency location

(d) provides on screen display of your exact location and GPS coordinates

(e) offers a list of contact details for the closest and most appropriate emergency service providers, based on the nature of the emergency

(f) dials the selected emergency service provider, based on the nature of the emergency

3. mySOS Find Near Me

mySOS Find Near Me:
(a) allows you to search for, navigate to or contact the closest, most relevant emergency service provider, based on your current location, including:
     • Hospital
     • Clinic
     • Doctor
     • Pharmacy
     • Police Station
     • Dentist
     • Vet
(b) allows navigation from Google Maps / Apple Maps

4. My Services

My Services allows you to participate in specialised selected services like Ambulance Services, Bike Parks, and Your local Security Organisation
     • Select My Services
     • Press Select Services
     • Choose the service you want to be added to
     • You will now see the specialised service you have chosen under the Emergency and Find Near Me Screens
     • The are no costs in selecting a service, some of the services will allow you to pay for entry fees or day passes or complete indemnity forms.

5. mySOS Track Me

mySOS Track Me:
(a) allows you to set a countdown timer that allows auto tracking for the duration of any outdoor event or journey
(b) outdoor event options include:
     • Walking
     • Running
     • Cycling
     • Driving
     • Other
(c) once the timer runs out and is not cancelled, the app auto-notifies your registered emergency contacts on your behalf and provides them with the following information:
     • Your name
     • Your mobile number
     • Nature of the event
     • Your last known location (GPS coordinates / street names)
     • Option to view emergency location from www.mysos.co.za
     • Option to navigate from their current location to your emergency location

6. mySOS Events

(a) For the events that use mySOS an “exclusive” button shows the event or sponsor's logo which allows participants to contact the emergency line supplied by the organisers

(b) Secondly, sms’s are sent to the emergency line as well as other numbers supplied by the race organiser with the exact GPS position of the incident. This allows faster response times by the medics and prevents further medical problems

(c) Race organisers can also log into their mySOS dashboard and track any emergencies
